There is some truth to the line about living virtuously just because you're aware that's how you should live and not Because you worship God. In other words if you live virtuously solely because you believe in the Judeo-Christian God, that reveals a lack of purity in your belief and behavior. Whereas, the Judeo-Christian point of view is that yes, you should be a good person because that's the way you should behave without doubt. Once the truth is revealed to you-you do one of two things. You either reject it or accept it-you'll never be the same again because you know the truth.
